CSI Check-in 1:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, June 23rd. The Institute concludes by 8:30 pm Friday, June 28th with our Celebration Concerts. Enrollment is open to students studying:  Suzuki Violin, Suzuki Viola, Suzuki Cello, Suzuki Piano, and Suzuki Guitar.  Students from Twinkle through Book 10 and beyond may enroll but must be studying the Suzuki method with a Suzuki trained teacher.

Curriculum Levels

1) Early Childhood Music  $155/plus registration fee*  (click for more info)

  • Music Together class each day

 

2) Suzuki Twinklers $270/plus registration fee*  (Designed for children 3-6 years of age who are learning their twinkle variations)

  • Each student will have 2 classes each day, which include the following:
  • group music class each day
  • enrichment class each day

 

3) Suzuki Books 1 & 2  $790/plus registration fee*

  • Each student will have 4 classes per day, which include the following:
  • master class (semi-private lesson, 4 students per class)
  • repertoire class (group class)
  • musicianship -assigned by level
  • enrichment class

 

4) Suzuki Books 3 & Up $890/plus registration fee*

  •  Each student will have 4 classes per day, which include the following:
  • master class (semi-private lesson, 4 students per class)
  • repertoire class (group class)
  • enrichment class
  • technique class

 

5) Colorado Chamber Music PREP   $1,000/plus registration fee* Must be age 10 and up AND Books 4 and Up -varies by instrument Click for more info

Registration deadline for this program is March 25th for piano and April 15th for strings and guitar. This is to have time to put groups together and send out music before institute.

  • Each Student will have 5 classes per day, which include the following:
  • Chamber Music Prep (Small Chamber group)
  • master class (semi-private lesson, 3 students per class)
  • repertoire class (group class)
  • enrichment class
  • technique class

*$55.00 Registration fee (Registration fee increases to: $75.00 on March 1 and to $100.00 on April 1)

This was a huge success in 2023! This is a chance for you and your family to explore more outside of the classroom. CSI is held in one of the most beautiful locations in the world and we want you and your family to have a built-in opportunity to explore and enjoy it! Late afternoon activities and concerts are an integral part of Institute and we welcome families to participate in all afternoon concerts and activities offered in order to benefit fully from the Institute. Optional evening activities provide even more enriching opportunities for your child but are completely optional.  Enjoy the Colorado evening any way you like! Participate in our scheduled activities or plan your own family adventure!

Each student who is age 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or another responsible, interested adult for the entire Institute. Students ages 13 or older can attend with their families or can choose to attend unaccompanied through the Teen Lodge Program, which is supervised by adult staff of the Colorado Suzuki Institute.
