  • Training Prerequisites and Teacher Workshops

    Book 1 courses begin at 8:30 am on Saturday and run through 5:00 pm on the following Saturday. All other Book courses begin at 8:30 am on Sunday and run through 5:00 pm on Friday.
  • For any Book 1 training courses, Every Child Can! course must be completed before arriving at Colorado Suzuki Institute.
  • The Suzuki Association of the Americas training guidelines and requirements

  • Roommate Matching

    Tuition and lodging are separate fees. To assist with costs the CSI provides roommate matching as a courtesy to our participants. We will try to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee you a roommate. CSI is not responsible for any alterations in plans or cancellations by roommates, and the CSI will not pay the difference in your fees if your roommate does not show up. If you indicate interest in roommate matching below, you will be prompted to fill out a roommate matching form after completing this form.
  • Book 1: Saturday to Saturday - $1,100.00. Books 2+: Sunday to Friday - $750.00. Only one book course can be taken at a time.
  • Intended Class Status

    The SAA strongly encourages Participant status. Auditor status is possible for those who wish to review a course taken previously or for teachers who have not submitted an audition. Auditors may not register courses with the SAA and pay full tuition for their audited course.
  • Release for Program, Activities and Emergency Care

    I hereby grant permission to participate in the program offered by the Colorado Institute of Music and the Colorado Suzuki Institute and to participate in the extra daily activities and free clinics offered by the Institute. The Institute will use reasonable precaution for the participant’s safety. However, by the very nature of the activities and clinics offered, I understand that the Institute cannot guarantee the safety of every participant. I understand, state and agree to hold the Institute, its officers, directors, employees and all those acting on behalf of the Institute, harmless from all liability of any kind by reason of any accident, injury or damage, whether to person or property, resulting from my participation in the Institute’s program, activities and clinics. Any controversy, claim or alleged liability arising out of or relating to this agreement, or my participation in the Institute’s 2024 program, shall be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, in Denver, Colorado and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Each party shall pay its own costs and attorney fees.
  • I hereby grant permission for the Director of Music, or the Director’s authorized personnel, of the Colorado Institute of Music, Inc. to obtain medical care on my behalf, the above named participant, in the event of an emergency. I understand and agree that such action may include, but not be limited to: a) Contacting a physician or paramedic; b) Admitting the participant to an emergency clinic or hospital; c) Engaging the services of ambulance or other emergency vehicle. I understand and agree that such action will be taken on behalf of the participant and that I shall be responsible for all costs and expenses of such emergency treatment.
  • Photo Release

    I hereby grant the Colorado Institute of Music permission to use my likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital media (“photo”) in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration. I understand and agree that all photos will become the property of the Colorado Institute of Music and will not be returned. I hereby irrevocably authorize the Colorado Institute of Music to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for any lawful purpose. In addition, I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photo. I hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge the Colorado Institute of Music from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.
